Background
Christoph Lukaseder is a startup founder and advisor to digital businesses and e-commerce companies.
In his most recent position, Chris co-invested in a luxury fashion e-commerce company after its insolvency and took on the role of Managing Director to turn the business around. Overseeing the marketing, customer service, and technical product teams, he has doubled revenues and built an operating model aiming to optimize customer lifetime value. The business has considerably improved its economics due to a newly established and highly automated performance marketing setup and a sales team dedicated to retaining high-value customers. In addition, he has been working with equity and debt investors to raise funds to fuel the business' growth.
Previously Chris founded a Direct-to-Consumer lifestyle brand, which was backed by Rocket Internet and is now part of a German publishing house. Before venturing into the startup world, Chris was a project manager for Bain & Company, working with Private Equity clients on post-acquisition strategies.
Chris holds an MBA from INSEAD and earned a double degree from Dublin City University Business School and the European School of Business. Chris loves to work in a creative environment and to tackle challenging business endeavors.
