Background
Colette Ballou is the founder and chairman of Ballou, a European communications advisory which works with high-growth technology companies and technology investors, including 2150, 83North, Accel Partners, Box, CommerzVentures, Criteo, GoEuro, (now Omio), Lakestar, Lightrock, Speedinvest, Stack Overflow, Stripe, Waze, WhatsApp and Zendesk.
As a part of establishing Ballou, she opened and served as the Managing Director of each Ballou office – Paris, London and Berlin. Along the way, Colette has guided the Ballou team through a string of well-documented client success stories including the successful entry of Facebook and Pinterest in France, of TransferWise in Germany, and the entry of Twilio and Eventbrite into the UK.
Colette has also invested in venture capital and private equity firms including Cavalry Ventures, Asia Partners and Connect Ventures.
