Mario Fischer

E-Commerce Professor at THWS


Mario Fischer is a Professor of E-commerce at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, a position he has held since 1998. He is the Head of the university's Bachelor of E-Commerce program, which he founded in 2011. He is also Head of the university Laboratory for E-Commerce, a founding partner of software company tms development and Director of the tms Institute

Additionally, Mario is the author of the best-selling book Website Boosting, publisher and editor-in-chief of the print magazine Website Boosting, and has partaken in extensive consulting projects with over 500 large and medium-sized companies in various sectors and municipal institutions. He has given or participated in several hundred lectures, seminars, conferences, television programs, reviews, publications, and articles in the field of e-commerce (especially digital marketing and SEO).

Mario studied at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), having graduated with honors in Business Informatics, Industrial Management, and Communications. He also graduated summa cum laude from FAU with a Doctorate in Political Science.
