John Hong

Background

John Hong is Director Strategy & Transactions at OMMAX. His focus is on advising buy and sell-side companies during the due diligence process as well as steering the transaction execution.​

John has advised on various transactions end-to-end for various clients, such as private equity, automotive, retail, tech and industrial goods companies.

Prior to joining OMMAX, he has been engaged in pre- and post-deal services in Europe, Middle East and APAC working for Roland Berger, Deloitte M&A Consulting and EY Parthenon.​

John is specialized in CDD, ODD, value creation and M&A support. He has started his career as a German M&A Lawyer.​ He holds a degree in Law from University of Freiburg and a Legal Clerkship from the Higher Court of Frankfurt am Main and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
