OMMAX supported Castik Capital, a leading European Private Equity firm on the acquisition of Customs Support Group, a leading independent customs broker in Europe.

OMMAX supported Castik Capital, a leading European private equity firm which just closed its second fund, EPIC II, at 1.25bn€, on the acquisition of Customs Support Group, a leading independent customs broker in Europe.

In preparation of the acquisition, OMMAX supported Castik Capital with a digital due diligence in which it examined the company’s digital performance, evaluating dimensions like digital market dynamics and search trends, digital competitive dynamics, digital readiness and performance assessment in order to come up with a digital value creation plan. Strong growth in Google searches (“digital search market”) for relevant keywords in the core countries provide a positive outlook for Customs Support Group. It is apparent that Customs Support Group already commenced on a journey to become a more “digital” player, with a lot of value creation potential still to go for.

We are very happy to continue to support Castik, also with the investments in their new Fund. Castik Capital once again showed its ability to identify companies with great potential and highly promising business models.
