OMMAX Advised HQIB on the Successful Acquisition of Ergosign Group

#Commercial Due Diligence

Harald Quandt Industriebeteiligungen GmbH (HQIB) acquires a majority stake in Ergosign Group, the market-leading digital agency for user experience design in the DACH region.

The two company founders Dr. Marcus Plach and Prof. Dr. Dieter Wallach will remain shareholders and Managing Directors of the company. The long-term oriented partnership with a sustainable investment approach of HQIB aims at further growth of Ergosign. Focus lies on the internationalization of the group and the expansion of the service portfolio.

OMMAX supported HQIB with a commercial due diligence in order to assess the relevant market, competitive landscape, customer segments, business model and growth potential. Ergosign has a strong competitive positioning as the leading UX agency in DACH, showcasing strong USPs like their internally developed UX prototyping software Antetype. In addition, the investment case is supported by strong underlying market growth and vast value creation potentials for the entire industry going forward.
