OMMAX supported the successful acquisition of VOCANTO GmbH by Bertelsmann Investments’ EMBRACE. During the comprehensive commercial, product, tech, and AI due diligence leading up to the successful transaction, OMMAX focused on the following key areas:

  • Comprehensive Commercial Due Diligence: Conducted an in-depth analysis of the existing business model, business case, market environment, and customer base, identifying key optimization opportunities.

  • Product Due Diligence: Evaluated the core elements of the SaaS business, assessing the software’s capabilities and uncovering potential competitive advantages and growth opportunities.

  • Tech/IT Due Diligence: Assessed critical areas including IT security, organizational structure, operating model, infrastructure, and overarching technology strategy to ensure robustness and scalability.

  • AI Impact Assessment: Analyzed the company’s AI readiness, mapped its AI strategy, and evaluated the potential business impact, paving the way for future innovation.
