As advocates for fostering a strong network and promoting gender diversity within the financial industry, we are thrilled to have hosted our exclusive Women in Finance event!

Having taken place on September 14th, 2023 at the OMMAX Headquarters in Munich, our Women in Finance event aimed to bring together accomplished female professionals, executives, and aspiring leaders in the financial industry. The event provided a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and fostering meaningful connections among like-minded individuals.

With over 70 talented female professionals in attendance, the event was both fun and professionally enriching, with dedicated networking sessions and insightful keynote speeches from renowned industry experts.

We would like to thank our Keynote Speaker Nadine Fugert, Principal at Adams Street Partners, for her inspiring presentation, detailing her professional trajectory, career tips for women, and ways to empower women in finance. One of the core topics discussed during the event was what it takes to make a career in private equity as a woman, especially if you also have a family and kids.

    We are delighted to present Nadine Fugert, one of the keynote speakers who will share insights on career advancement and effective networking strategies, specifically tailored to women in the financial industry field.

    Nadine is an experienced Institutional Sales professional with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Nadine's expertise includes Asset Management, in particular the placement of Fixed Income, Equity and Alternative Investment strategies such as Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Energy Efficiency and Hedge Funds. She is a self-starter who enjoys working independently within a global organization with flat hierarchies.

    Isabella Calderon Hoyos

    Isabella Calderon Hoyos is a partner at OMMAX and leads commercial- and digital due diligence projects with a focus on business services and education. She works with corporates and private equity clients (small, mid, and large-cap) such as Cinven, Equistone, and Afinum.

    Prior to joining OMMAX, she gained 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting at Roland Berger and in the commercial due diligence team at PwC, where she worked on 150+ CDDs, restructuring, and strategy projects.

    She holds an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Chicago Booth Business School, and a Diploma in International Business from ESB Reutlingen.

      Theresia von Grafenstein has many years of experience in executive search and human resources. Before joining EMERAM, she worked for the personnel consultancies Egon Zehnder and Spencer Stuart, as well as in HR management at Henkel. Her professional experience includes filling C-level and supervisory board positions in executive search, recruiting, talent management and operational HR work.

      Theresia von Grafenstein has a Masters in Economics from LMU Munich and is a trained systemic coach.

      Dr. Anja Konhäuser

      Dr. Anja Konhäuser is a Partner/Co-Founder at OMMAX and specializes in the development of digital marketing strategies as well as the support of commercial due diligence projects for digital M&As. With her superior experience in the setup, analysis, and execution of digital value creation strategies, she has successfully advised national and international leading brands on scaling digital business models. She concentrates on game-changing industries such as digital health and travel, bringing unmatchable leadership and analytical skills, and standing out as a person with high precision and patience. Always passionate about digital know-how, she likes to share her experience as a lecturer at prestigious universities, some of which she also worked for before joining OMMAX, including the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the University of Passau.

      Anja holds an MBA from the University of Passau and a Ph.D., summa cum laude, from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

        Dr. Ludger Schult

        Ludger Schult is a founding partner of GLNS Attorneys-at-Law Tax Advisors. He represents clients in a broad range of corporate matters and transactions, typically in a cross-border context. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (private equity/venture capital), joint ventures, general corporate, and compliance matters (in particular corporate governance and manager liability issues), restructuring as well as distressed M&A and distressed debt transactions.

        Prior to founding GLNS, he worked with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in Munich and K&L Gates in New York. Ludger studied at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and at the Boston University School of Law (LL.M.), going on to obtain a Doctorate at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (Dr. iur.).
