Prof. Dr. Dirk Totzek is a university professor at the University of Passau and Chair of Business Administration with a focus on marketing at the Faculty of Economic Sciences since 2013. Dirk also teaches at Mannheim Business School and Corvinus University Budapest. He is also the founder, shareholder and Managing Director of Steiger Spirits, a liquor business following the mining tradition of the German Ruhrgebiet.
His central research areas revolve around price management, service management, business-to-business marketing and customer relationship management. Dirk’s scientific pieces have been published in renowned research outlets such as the Strategic Management Journal and the Journal of Marketing. Additionally, he has won several scientific awards, e.g. the Best Paper Award in the Strategy Track at the American Marketing Association's.
