Founded over 45 years ago in Switzerland, Distrelec focuses on technical components, automation and measurement technology. They are represented by subsidiaries in more than 15 countries and supply our customers throughout Europe quickly and reliably. 

OUR EXIT READINESS APPROACH

Assessing digital and commercial readiness and implementing key (digital) value creation initiatives prior to the initiation of the sales process leads to a more compelling equity story and enterprise value maximization. Our approach consisted of 3 phases:
 

Phase 1: ‘As-is’ assessment 

 

  • Exit readiness assessment: digital GTM, data, and technology 

  • Cornerstones of the digital equity story 

  • Identification of short-term improvements

Phase 2: Realization of quick wins 

 

  • Digital Go-to-Market & Acquisition channels
  • E-commerce & customer economics BI suite: OMMAX worked in close collaboration with the respective teams at Distrelec to realize the holistic reporting suite and help the business develop toward greater data-driven decision-making
  • Hiring support: To fill the identified skill gaps, OMMAX HR service offering was applied to support in hiring the relevant digital talent – in close collaboration with Distrelec’s HR business partner

  • Nuanced business plan development based on cohort model
  • VDD report including digital, tech, data, logistics, and procurement
  • Integration of findings into holistic equity story
