David Rogers, the international expert and leader in digital business strategy and digital transformation will be in Munich on 30th June, 2016 at the Heart House Members Club to deliver a talk on his latest research and book, The Digital Transformation Playbook, which was released earlier this year in April.
An exclusive, select audience of C-level executives from industry, private equity firms and venture capitalists have been invited to meet Rogers and to listen to his latest ideas about transforming businesses for the digital age. David Rogers, who is the Faculty Director of Digital Business Strategy & Digital Marketing at Columbia Business School in New York, has acted as a consultant for some of the largest companies worldwide such as Google, GE, Unilever, Toyota, Visa, SAP and IBM to name but a few.
Recently Rogers has focused his research on big data, the Internet of Things, in-store mobile shoppers, digital marketing ROI and data sharing, all of which are becoming ever more prevalent in recent years. His work also extends itself to hosting the BRITE conference, a conference which he founded and which is attended by many global CEOs and CMOs alongside leading technology firms, media companies and entrepreneurs. It is an opportunity for these different parties to come together to discuss the challenges brands are facing today and to collaborate to build strong brands for the digital age.
Rogers is no stranger to conferences and has travelled the globe delivering keynote speeches on digital transformation and digital marketing whilst also appearing on CNN, ABC News, CNBC, Marketplace, Channel News Asia, and in The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and the Economist. This is why it is with great pleasure that OMMAX can announce it is hosting David Rogers in Munich to discuss his latest work.
The Digital Transformation Playbook discusses how to transform businesses to compete in the digital economy. Rather than focusing on the technology itself, Rogers argues that companies need to upgrade their strategical thinking with regard to five specific topics – customers, competition, data, innovation, and value. Where the book excels is in providing a practical guide to how established businesses can transform themselves to compete in today’s digital world.
Toni Stork, CEO of OMMAX, said: “I’m delighted to be able to invite David Rogers here to speak at our event. He is a distinguished expert in the field of digital transformation and digital marketers worldwide follow his pioneering work closely. I’m excited to hear what advice he has for executives who are looking to take their business into the digital era.”
Dr. Stefan Sambol, Managing Partner at OMMAX, said: “We are really looking forward to listening to David’s experiences in the field of digital transformation from his US perspective. His valuable insights can help provide German companies and our clients with the orientation required to deal with the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
